The Best is Yet to Come - A Tribute to Frank Sinatra Long Beach Concert reviews
Show was great!
Madonna Story
During a screening of her first movie Desperately Seeking Susan back in 1985, I first met Madonna in person. Madonna told me, 鈥淚 hope you will like my movie." She, in my opinion, never disappoints her fans, old and new. At the time, it was customary for the celebrity to show up at the screening to gauge the audience reaction. She gave me a button with her image from the movie, and I still have that button. Everyone that night asked me how I got to chat with her, and I just played it off and said I have my connections. My piano teacher saw me and asked if I was there to see Madonna and her new movie. I bought my ticket and walked in, and my teacher introduced me to Madonna. I replied yes, but I am just a nobody. With that, I decided to skip my night class and go see what it was all about. That was the beginning of me being a fan, and I have seen her in concert 6 times. She asked me if I wanted to meet her, and I have my connections. Looking forward to seeing her again for the 7th time.
AWESOME!!!
This concert, by far, is the best I have been to many, many concerts over the years, but. Both The Best is Yet to Come - A Tribute to Frank Sinatra and Dierks Bentley went above and beyond in their performances. Saying that the tickets were worth the money would be the understatement of the century. I have been a Hank Jr. fan since I was a young boy. Not only would I love to see them again....I would walk to the concert if I had to! Well let me tell you......I am now a hardcore fan of Dierks....of course Bocephus still ranks #1.....
Great show bad traffic
"I drove from Shelby at 5 o'clock for what should have been a 45-minute drive to make it to a 7 o'clock show. Due to traffic, I arrived at the show's ramp by 6:15 and didn't actually get inside until 8 o'clock. My wife and I missed out on both opening acts. The Tribute to Frank Sinatra - The Best is Yet to Come was fantastic, but we were let down by missing the opening performances. Traffic was chaotic with no one organizing, causing a gridlock that prevented interstate travelers from accessing the pavilion. The tickets aren't cheap, and it's unlikely we'll return to the pavilion."
"Attending this awesome event for the first time was a great experience! Despite the wind, the new venue was wonderful. The local artist venue could have been larger, but everything else was fabulous. The artists were truly amazing! We were delighted to hear the music of The Best is Yet to Come - A Tribute to Frank Sinatra, as well as the John Butler Trio and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. KABOOM... the fireworks set to music were fantastic! My partner, a fireworks enthusiast, mentioned seeing 7 types of fireworks she had never seen before. We got a lot of entertainment for just $15 a ticket. What a deal! Thanks to KFOG for such a great event! We will definitely be back, and we'll bring more friends!"
